The Bella microneedling pen consists of an electric hand piece and a disposable needle tip. This means that during your microneedling treatment, the Bella microneedling pen will be gently glided over the target area to rejuvenate your skin. Since the electric technology and the 12-microscopic needles in the tip of the Bella microneedling pen work together, tiny punctures are created smoothly and safely without causing dermal tearing. This process promotes new growth for a smoother, younger look.
Treatments generally takes 30 minutes. After the treatment, your skin will be red but this should subside within 1 – 2 days. We recommend avoiding direct sunlight for 48 hours. Otherwise, your daily routine can be resumed almost immediately after treatment. Although results will be visible after treatment, optimal results will be evident after 4 – 6 weeks. |

Prior to your PRP facial, a small amount of blood (18 mL) will be drawn from your arm. Your blood will then be placed into a centrifuge machine which will separate the different components of the blood (red and white blood cells, platelets, and plasma). The separated plasma now contains a higher concentration of platelets (thus the term, platelet-rich plasma or PRP). The PRP is then administered with microneedling onto and into your skin.
Prior to the procedure, a topical and/or inhaled anesthetic may be used to reduce any discomfort caused by the microneedling process. Treatment from start to finish, (with drawing and separating blood) will take about 30-40 minutes. After the procedure, your face will be red due to the red blood cells within the PRP. However, this will subside within a few days. Optimal results will be visible within 4 – 6 weeks. |
